“Carolina Artisans” is a local construction company of Cleveland County, NC. We pride ourselves in maintaining a reputation in delivering creativity and excellence, since 1978.

Discovering enjoyment and talent in building construction sparked the idea of creating Carolina Artisans Construction Company. Being high school friends with compatible interests and goals, they continued since 1978 to pursue growing the construction company.

Both partners earned their state contractors’ licenses in 1978. Since then, “Carolina Artisans” has experience in constructing custom homes, town homes, senior communities, medical buildings, banks, fire stations, churches, restaurants, as well as, restoration, remodeling, and additions in the greater Cleveland County area and surrounding counties.

Blake Kee, son of Eddie and Candy Kee, Darren Ledbetter, son of Darrell and Donna Ledbetter are college graduates of Appalachian State University in “Construction Management” and Gardner Webb University in “Business Administration” respectively. The two sons are committed to continuing the building reputation and excellence in customer service of Carolina Artisans Construction.
